hello! hope you had a great weekend! we got to spend the week with nana and granddad (josh’s parents) who came to visit us in the city. it was so nice to have family here for a few days. eleanor and samson sure love their grandparents which was evident all week as they preferred their laps for sitting and hands for holding over ours. ...
it was 70 degrees on friday. 70, i tell you! since eleanor and i were already out and about, we decided to go steal dad away from the office for some five guys
in the park.
did i tell you i can eat burgers again? one great thing about no longer being pregnant. eleanor must like them too since she’s having no trouble packing on the ounces!...
we pray our allergies stay away
and the mosquitos will be nice
so we can enjoy many family walks
around washington d.c. this spring.

new little flowers, green grass and a very very blue sky
stopped by capitol hill this week.
we hope this means spring has decided
to come live on the hill permanently for the next few months.
we love spring.
how is it already march 1st?
i’m not complaining.
happy to welcome spring and *hopefully* with that,
a few warmer days, less snow storms (or NO snow storms),
the first little signs of cherry blossoms on the trees,
& maybe even one or two nights where we can drive with the top down.
believe it or not, i’m actually looking forward to my snarly hair
after it’s experienced some crazy wind from driving
with the top down on the freeway....
