While the house was still dark and everyone was still sleeping, my oldest kiddos snuck into the kitchen and whipped up a plate of pancakes for mother’s day. They brought the surprise into my bed where I was snuggled between my baby girls who’d found their way to mama’s bed in the early hours of the morning and as my five babies and I sat in a circle on my bed around a pile of pancakes drenched in syrup, I felt so loved. (Josh was away and wasn’t able to join the fun until later in the day.) We were able to keep the sibling arguing and button-pressing to a minimum for most of the day, and we found our way to extra snuggles and cuddles while watching back to back episodes of Little House on the Prairie (my kids current obsession which I love because it was mine around their age a million years ago.)

Motherhood has changed and shaped and stretched me more then anything else in my life. I am thankful for the experience to help guide these beautiful little ones. I’m also so very thankful for the women in my life who have lifted, loved, supported and changed my life for the better. And I’m so very thankful for the women in my children’s lives who have already had such a powerful impact I’m humbled by. Thank you. Happy Mothering Day! 💕

What a lovely family photo. This is our everything. What we done in this life is for family.

  2. A beautiful message! Motherhood has indeed changed almost every facet of me being but in ways that I never thought possible. Being a mother is a precious blessing.

  3. I agree 100%. I am so grateful to God for the gift that is my mommy. She is my greatest friend and supporter. Mothers deserve to be celebrated more often.

    Happy Tuesday💛
