hi everyone! this week flew by and i honestly don’t even know how it’s the middle of july already, too! we have been working hard on a lot of fun stuff over here, and josh and i have been getting pretty much no sleep in the process, but that’s okay because it’s summer and it’s nice out (albeit humid and sticky and sometimes kind of smelly, too) but we always love new york in the summer so i can’t complain....

if there’s one thing i love more than anything, it’s getting out the front door with all three of my kids and exploring new york city. it’s that feeling of independent exploration, almost like we’re our own little bubble floating around the city, coming in contact with different sights and sounds and scents, and not really knowing what’s going to happen next… it’s that sort of spontaneous experience that keeps a day fresh, which makes me love our city life....

last week, we tucked one of our babies into bed (the other two would go to bed within the hour after we left), and hopped on the train to head to the west village for dinner. josh looked so dapper as we left the apartment in his tie. so fancy! i love that man in his ties....
