saturday in brooklyn.

we spent a good part of saturday just over the water in brooklyn together. we brought the kiddos’ scooters and they were in heaven scooting and chasing each other everywhere.  we rode jane’s carousel a few times and grabbed lunch before heading back into the city.  it was one of those breezy days that was still warm enough to keep the sweaters off and gets you just in the mood for summer in the city.  i’m so looking forward to it!

^^^3 out of 4 smiling in a family selfie. i call this big time picture taking success. ;) ^^^

^^^i still can’t get over how magical this carousel feels when you’re there. the music, the horses, the lights! it is out of this world.^^^

^^^we grabbed pizza at juliana’s (right next to grimaldi’s) and it was so good. josh hadn’t been yet and after my taste test with girlfriends last summer, i was anxious to get his opinion. (he loved it.) we shared an ice cream afterwards on the promenade at brooklyn ice cream factory (they have the best butter pecan i’ve ever had, even if it’s a crazy $4 a scoop) and enjoyed a few more scoots around the area before heading back home. ^^^

^^^my new favorite photo of these three. i know, i feel like i have a new one every few weeks.^^^
^^^see ya soon, brooklyn!^^^

It looks to me as though you are wearing cute, loose fitting clothes these days, Naomi. I noticed the Easter dress, as well as how your apron was fitting on the Blue Apron shot. I totally respect and understand your waiting to share with your readers, but can’t help but wonder if #3 is on the way. You are such a lovely little family!
