it’s been a bit quiet on the blog this week as we’ve been spending all of our free moments (and sleep moments, to be quite honest) working together on a new project. there has been an ongoing conversation and idea amongst us and friends for months now, and after many nights of staying up until 3 or 4 in the morning with josh and working along side him on said ideas, we are finally putting them into motion. it is exciting and scary at the same time. we are in san francisco right now with eleanor and samson working on those next steps. but we’re also sneaking in time for some play, good food, and catching up with old friends in the nearby areas because if you are going to fly across the country with a teething baby, you can’t just stay for a day of meetings…. you gotta make those 6 hours of plane riding torture worth it. ;)
but it’s almost ten PM, and my family is fast asleep in our tiny hotel bed. so i am going to sign off again with the promise to be back soon with photos and stories and thoughts to share. thanks for continuing to check in with our little family blog and for all of your support and encouragement.
and just because it’s not really a blog post over here without pictures (right?!), here are a few from last friday when we admired big snow flakes outside our window all morning long. it was one of those mornings where i thought we might get snowed in for the weekend, but by saturday we were enjoying 50 degree weather and short sleeve shirts in the park. march is most definitely one of the more confusing months. ;)
enjoy the rest of your evening and have a great sunday, too! we’ll see you soon!
I’m loving all of your San Francisco photos on Instagram! Have a great trip and hope you’re enjoying our beautiful California weather :)
Goodness! I am a HUGE fan of your blog, probably your biggest fan! I live in Sacramento and was just in San Francisco with my family yesterday, it would’ve been so amazing to meet you because I look up to you so much!

Oh look at that lovely snow!
In these days (weeks… months…) I am more and more confused and unhappy with my work and reading these dreamlike words about how you are working with your husband and friends… I don’t know, somehow it makes me hopeful. Thank you. Keep going, stay blessed. :)
SO excited to see what you are working on! Bless you and your little family too :)

You’re killing me! The suspense… I can hardly take it. Have fun out here. You’re in my neck fo the woods right now. Glad you got to take some time to explore a bit in addition to your super cool secret meeting ;)
Can’t wait to see what’s ahead for you and your family! :) Love the photos! and seriously just seeing the snow makes me excited that New Zealand will be entering winter soon! xx
Welcome to SF! Isn’t it fun? I’ve loved seeing all your pics on Instagram, I think we’ve crossed paths a few times!
I love the window watching photos! My little one’s favorite past time is gazing out of our floor to ceiling windows (also I hate cleaning them). We don’t get snow here so it’s probably not as interesting but the sound of the rain on our roof almost makes up for it. I love all of your SF Instagram photos, it’s fun to see you exploring my neck of the woods!

Your SF pics are making me want to catch a plane and spend the rest of my life there.
Don’t worry about your blog being a bit quiet, you’re like one of those friends you haven’t seen in a long time but after five minutes together you’re so at ease with each other that you forget you’ve ever been apart.
can’t wait to see what the new project is!

Can’t wait to see what you guys have been working on day and night! It must be pretty exhausting for you, considering that you’ll have to look after 2 young kids by yourself! All the best in your project and good luck! :)

I know how it is, we’re also traveling and my blog has been a little slower. Traveling with little ones isn’t the most relaxing, (at least the actual traveling part) but does make for some really cute photo ops!). :)
I posted a couple adorable pics of traveling with our toddler this past weekend. :) Think you’ll enjoy when you have a free minute. :)

That’s what they say about winter, isn’t it? “March and winter goes out like a roaring lion and spring creeps in like a little lamb.” Or something to that extent.
Can”t wait to hear the details of the project as they come together!

Best wishes on this next journey!!!! =)
Those snow pictures are pure magic!
pretty pictures :)
Good Luck with whatever you’re working on! We love San Fran and are totally jealous that you’re there right now. Not sure where you need to stay in the city, but we always opt for a vacation rental using sites like VRBO.com or homeaway.com. We found (ESPECIALLY with littles) that the prices are way better and everyone can have their little spaces. We always stay in the marina and since lodging there is way expensive and not super nice in my opinion- getting a little condo is just perfect- makes us feel like we live there again!

I always knew that there is never one side of you, Taza or just one idea for whatever it could be – style choice, inspiration, new project. You are a great juggler between family life, little daily pleasures and still manage to surprise us with some great news. I’m in awe and I like it! All the best with the project which I can’t wait to have a sneaky peak into xx
