reunion of sorts.

this is my bff, carolyn. {she’s a really fierce dancer–click here if you don’t believe me.}
well, once upon a time and for the last 4 years– we were inseparable. attached at the hip. did everything together. then, came graduation. and now, we’re lucky if we see each other every other week.  yes, we both still live in new york, but between work, husband, love, sleep, and not dancing–things appear to be getting in the way.

so today we had a play date. we brunched, we shopped, we chatted, we laughed. we also decided we’re going to audition for dv8 and change the world.

i have decided…
the west village magnolia really is much better than the one on columbus ave.
and yes yes, i would know.

and i bought wayyy too many books today at a lovely book shop on bleecker.
when they are reduced in price i cannot help it…
but carrying them home hurt my shoulders and back.

 the city feels extra crisp and windy this week.
this is the time of year where i never have anything bad to say about my new york.
she is absolutely glorious this time of year as autumn arrives.
…and carolyn, love, thank you for being my friend. i love you, woman.
  1. i think magnolia on bleeker is much tastier 2! looks like so much fun and I love that book shop- i miss it actually- i rarely visit anymore. you always know how to live up New York to its fullest!
