spending time at this trout farm was probably one of our favorite experiences of our trip! the farm was of course just beautiful, and we ended up hanging out and being there much longer than we originally anticipated since the grounds were so pretty and they had a fun little playground as well that the kids just loved....Read more
probably my favorite part of exploring the cotswolds was our afternoon visiting the slaughters. i was so confused as we began our planning and josh kept talking about the slaughters. i was like, what even is a place with a name like that?! but apparently, the village gets its name from the old english term for “muddy” or “wet land” which is “slothre,” thus, the slaughters....Read more
i’m sharing some photos today from our time in the english countryside, specifically when we passed through turville and oxford. it’s a photo overload, because everywhere we looked was so picturesque, it felt like we were walking into a fairy tale. i love how everyone uses great detail in keeping their gardens and homes in beautiful shape, which of course just adds to the charm....Read more

after our time spent at the mosque in casablanca, we had one of our favorite meals ever at a place josh found called la sqala. i think half the credit of calling it our favorite meal goes to the delicious food and also the great service, and the other reason why it was a favorite was because we had such a fun time around the table together before, during and after our meal....Read more
our family spent 24 hours in casablanca, morocco, to start off our spring break trip! originally, when we first bought our tickets for this trip, we had planned to spend a much longer time exploring more cities and areas of morocco, but we switched up our itinerary a few weeks back to have more time in the country side of england....Read more

i am still on such a high from getting to spend the weekend with girlfriends in paris! you might have caught a lot of the trip through my videos on instagram stories, but now that i am home, i have a billion photos and stories i want to share as well! we were able to pack in so much in just 48 hours, but it never felt rushed or crammed, as we just wandered around and got lost on the most beautiful streets or inside the most incredible shops. ...Read more
no matter how much we love new york city, sometimes it just feels really good to get out of the city. we woke up on saturday morning and were like, “let’s get out of here” and i literally started throwing an extra pair of clothes for everyone into a duffle bag while josh ran around the corner and rented a car....Read more

i have so many photos to share from our trip to boston! we had a wonderful time, and i’m so glad we finally went. i had never been before, despite all these years of living on the east coast and always hearing the best things about the place. but everything aligned last weekend with a few days off from school for eleanor and with old friends now living in boston, so we decided it was the perfect time to go, especially with all the fall foliage basically at its peak right now (the drive alone was insane, it’s so colorful out right now.)
we drove up on saturday and hit a big rain storm, which didn’t stop pouring until the early hours of monday morning!...Read more

before our time in victoria, we spent a quick weekend in whistler, british columbia, canada. and the entire time, we were like, wow this place is crazy beautiful. i’m so glad we detoured there for a couple days to see it! i actually didn’t take the camera out too much during our weekend, and we kept it pretty low key as we adjusted to the time change, but i did bring it with us when we visited alta lake one day and i’m glad i did because i love these photos (and the video too) a lot. we spent most of the day right beside the water, and the kids couldn’t get enough of the little fish swimming around and tried to catch a few in their buckets and give them names before releasing them again into the water....Read more
i’m really excited to share some photos and a video we made from our time in victoria canada a few weeks ago! we have absolutely loved the chance we’ve gotten to explore some of the most beautiful places this past year as we’ve partnered with fairmont hotels and resorts. traveling with little ones is not the easiest, but i wouldn’t trade the memories and experiences we’ve been able to create together while doing so for anything....Read more

i’m excited to share all these photos from the last few days of our switzerland trip. it’s been really hard for me to try to put into words just how much our time there meant to us. i feel like the videos and photos don’t do it justice. but i also don’t think my words could ever do it justice either....Read more
here’s a big batch of some of my favorite photos from our first stop in switzerland. we spent our first few days in meiringen, an area where josh’s good friend from high school has lived for the past several years with her husband, who is from the area originally, and their two little ones. the entire area was breathtaking, but the lake named lake engstlensee that our friends took us to, was on another level of beauty....Read more

hello! sharing lots of photos today from the day we took a boat out around lake maggiore. this was so much fun! i don’t know why i get hesitant to do water activities with the kiddos, i always anticipate that they are going to hate it and we’re going to be stuck on a boat far away from land, but it turns out that all three of our kids are water babies through and through and never want to get back onto shore....Read more
