you might have seen my unboxing (it was actually more of a shattering!) on instagram a few weeks ago when i received a few new skincare products from Olay. sidenote: the box was made of chocolate and after eating almost the entire thing (my kids helped, too!) i haven’t stopped thinking about how fun this world could be if more mail was delivered in chocolate boxes. just throwing the idea out into the universe in case anyone wants to run with it! imagine!!!
but back to what was in the box – a new skincare line by Olay called Retinol24, and in my quest to take better care of my skin in my thirties, i was excited to try it out since the collection boasts delivering 24-hour hydration while brightening, firming and smoothing skin. what really intrigued me on wanting to try it though was hearing that 96% of users have not experienced any irritation with the collection, which was the reason i hadn’t been using a retinol product in my routine for several years.
over the past few weeks, i’ve tried the night serum, eye cream and night cream (you definitely don’t need to use all three products in a routine – i was just curious about each one so i tried them all) but i’m here to give my full report that i have really enjoyed using the Olay Regenerist Retinol24 night cream the most. it feels like a fluffy whipped cream when i put it on and i appreciate that my skin feels hydrated the following morning without feeling greasy. i am the first to admit that i’ve bought into believing i needed some rather fancy and expensive night creams in the past and while they’ve been nice and all, the Olay Retinol24 night cream is much more affordable and it’s done the exact same job if not better. my skin feels a little bit firmer but also incredibly soft, if that even makes sense? i plan to keep using it each night.
have any of you used a retinol in your skincare routine before? if anyone tries out the new Retinol24 collection by Olay, i’ll be interested to hear your thoughts. thank you to Olay for sponsoring this blog post and thank you to everyone who stopped by this blog post!
