happy second birthday to my handsome baby boy, samson rex! the last two years with you have been a dream. i love your curious and adventurous personality, your infectious smile, your insistent determination and spirited love for life. i want to bottle you up and keep you two right here and now at this age forever....

hope you had a wonderful memorial day weekend! i’m not sure how it’s already wednesday… we crammed our little family of four into a photobooth on monday down at bubby’s in tribeca after we enjoyed brunch there with friends (and some of the best pancakes any of us have ever had.) i’m actually embarrassed at how many times since brunch i have brought up those pancakes to friends or just thought about them myself, but they really were something else.  ...

we spent the afternoon in tribeca as a family earlier this week.  sweetgreen, our favorite lunch destination and longtime blog partner, just opened its second location in manhattan down on greenwich and hubert street so we wanted to check it out! we decided to make a day of it and visit a few other spots in the area as well....

a few from a quick trip to LA a few weeks back, and a few from around the city from my phone and josh’s. the best was opening my lipstick one day to find a surprise cheerio thanks to mister samson. cracked us up all day long.  also love seeing eleanor inside that bubble in central park....
