i was afraid something would get in the way–because that tends to be the case when we find a home we love on the hill, but… remember when i mentioned this place? well, we held our breath all week, waiting with a pen in hand to sign that lease… and sign that lease we did! thanks for crossing your fingers for us!
i feel like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders– but then again, i feel like it’s been replaced with the thought of packing up our current place in only a few days time with a baby on my hip and a bulldog who likes eating boxes. heaven help us. ;)
baby and bulldog are napping right now, so i’m off to pack up a box or two! enjoy your monday…

We have no baby but three dogs:
Dog #1 will chew up every box in sight
Dog #2 will try to stall the move by laying down on just about anything on the ground
Dog #3 will pout in the corner because he loves his yard right now but will likely jump for joy the very second he sees the new yard!

That's wonderful! I'm in the process of moving right now, too, and it's quite daunting, but worth saving the money by not hiring movers, I suppose. Although I wonder some days… :)

That's so exciting! Congratulations. I actually have a question you might have some insight on. I know that you have lived in some very small apartments. With myself, my husband, dog, and baby- our 750sq ft space is stifling. How do you fit/organize for 3 people and a dog in such a small space? I consider myself an extreme organizer (OCD at times) but I still don't ever seem to have enough room! any suggestions?

Very exciting. I think you'll love renting a house before buying. It gives all the perks of a house, with all the perks of an apartment when things break lol we are doing the same right now. It kind of gears you up for when you are ready to eventually buy.
